I'm asking because I walked by a fuchsia recently which had the most incredibly delicious fruit. I'm trying to find out what it is so I can get one. The photo you have labelled Fuchsia hatchbatchii is the closest-looking one I've seen.

I've started seeds from my mystery fuchsia and am trying to get some cuttings to grow (but it's wrong time of year for cuttings). Meanwhile, I'm trying to identify it. It's got narrow leaves like the one in your picture and the flowers all have a little outward bend.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06339755258271967964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5335321786750265682.post-74798057540948245232011-10-24T15:57:16.997-07:002011-10-24T15:57:16.997-07:00Wonderful, crisp new look to your blog. It's really not fond of the cooler weather, is it? I bet your Persicaria is 'Lance Corporal', it's such a great plant! I just love that rich green color with the contrating chevron. Mine that get more sun fade out a little as well.scottweberpdxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08740930947767329183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5335321786750265682.post-30027158836702922942011-10-16T11:22:15.539-07:002011-10-16T11:22:15.539-07:00Love that first image. And your Sally Holmes looks very sweet. Happy GBBD!HolleyGardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14892421871044249940noreply@blogger.com
